Baby Ogboli is a seventeen-year-old girl, living with her mother and father in Nigeria. When she is fifteen, she’s studying for final exams, comes under attack and cannot sleep for three nights. Voices become clear in her head, she begins having experiences of spiritual rape by what she calls, “evil personalities,” and begins to see different marine spirits, crocodiles, dragons, lions and cartoon-type beings, some of whom torment her. The whole family is Spirit-filled Christian, but Baby Ogboli has the generational attachments to the African witchcraft of her parents past and these spirits don’t want to go.
I speak to her mother today on a Facebook call, and I begin pre-deliverance intelligence gathering. Her mother receives a phone call, leaves me for ten minutes, during which, Baby Ogboli goes into a deep sleep (knocked out) and will not re-awaken. How convenient. Baby Ogboli’s demons are hiding.
She calls back and I figure, while I’m on the phone to Nigeria, I can call into Momma Ogboli’s “house” and see who’s there. Momma Ogboli and her husband come from deep ancestral witchcraft. Her father’s side called on ancestral worship, the worship of familiar spirits. Momma Ogboli has been the object of “fetish prayers” (rituals) and has marks on her body; possibly African mutilation. She receives her period around eleven years of age, which she is taken to a witch doctor where her menstrual blood (unclean, Lev. 15) is placed on the head of a dog (unclean animal in Hebrew tradition) and the dog is released in the forest. This is a direct blasphemy of the Hebrews sending a scapegoat into the wilderness (Lev. 16), marked out for Azazel, as a sin offering for the nation of Israel. Perhaps this ritual was a sacrifice for Azazel himself, or a sacrifice to a lower-level deity. She is too young at the time and doesn’t understand. I question about a marine deity called “Mommy Water” and she tells me “In my region she is called “The Goddess of the River,” or “Olokun.” Below are images I found on the internet of Olokun in the deity’s female form; yes, it assumes both. This belief system is a either a derivation or derivative of Santeria.
I ask the Holy Spirit to go in and search her “house” to tell us who He intends to deliver Momma from today. Her sisters name “Gloria” comes-up. She starts throwing up and it is over in a second. In my experience, some of these demons assume the names of humans. I have no interaction with Gloria and have no idea what happened, but nothing else answers and I realize it’s not Momma Ogboli’s day for deliverance…our relationship is for her daughter. Perhaps Jesus will allow me to free Momma Ogboli from this deity after her daughter is free. I will try again tomorrow when Baby Ogboli is awake.

Today I Messenger Momma before I call and tell her “Don’t tell your daughter I’m calling today. We need to surprise her demons.” I call and get Baby Ogboli awake. The language in their region is Igbo, but the daughter barely speaks it because they teach English in their school system. This is good for me, but Baby Ogboli hasn’t spoken for three days already. Jesus tells me “The key to her deliverance is in her tongue” and I know that if I lose the tongue, the entire house of cards will fall.
These demons bring Baby Ogboli food in the spirit, while she sleeps, put it in her mouth, then they rape and torture her. You might say, “Why doesn’t she just stop eating the food then?” That’s good in theory, but in application, under witchcraft and in the spirit this is a difficult thing.
As I am working with Baby Ogboli she will shriek with a high-pitch, demonic laugh. Sinister sounding. I send in the Holy Spirit, bind, lose, break curses, speak life, etc., but nothing is working. I get her mother to put paper and pencil in front of her so she can give us the name of the demonic entity controlling her tongue. She scribbles unintelligibly. I tell her “Tell Jesus you love Him.” She cannot. I ask Momma to turn on her favorite “Jesus worship song.” She does and the demon begins singing the worship song to me. She will not speak and Jesus reveals that she is broken on the inside, fragmented, and tormented by these demons. She is scared and will not take her authority over them to speak. Jesus respects the authority given to Baby Ogboli when the Father creates her. She needs to “walk” in her authority and overcome her fear to speak…then we can blow a trumpet into her walls and collapse the kingdom of darkness’ defense built around her. Today is not the day.
Now it’s personal for me. I have come in contact with the enemy, they are scoffing at me, and I want to destroy these uncircumcised Philistines. We will try again tomorrow.

Before I get on the phone today, I have a feeling come over me that if nothing happens (release) during this deliverance session, my time with this family is over. I was a little discouraged because I felt Baby Ogboli wouldn’t find freedom today.
Today, I call Momma Ogboli at 2pm my time, 7pm her time. As soon as Momma answers the phone, Baby Ogboli immediately begins her shrieking laughter. Her demons are showing off. I ask Momma, “Has she been shrieking all day, or just now as we get on the phone together?” She replies, “Just now.” I ask and Momma Ogboli confides in me that there have been several attempts at the deliverance of her daughter, to no avail. Her tongue never gets free today as her demons make her lie down on a nearby sofa. I take her mother back thru some generational issues on the bloodline to see if I can jolt the deliverance, but nothing. As a final insult to me, I hear Baby Ogboli’s voice for the first time – not influenced demonically – as they allow her to say “Goodbye” to me. It made me mad.
As one who has had two daughter’s and one son who have come under manifest attack, I understand how Momma Ogboli feels. Watching her daughter being controlled by something unseen, powerless, and being out of control is a terrible feeling. Deliverance is His ministry; we are just the conduits of His power. I believe a couple things stand in the way of Baby Ogboli’s deliverance today: communication and bloodline. The worship of African deities and ancestral spirits needs to be belt with in this situation. We say the words, but nothing is budging. Baby Ogboli is Jesus’ child. He will allow her freedom in the future; either during this lifetime or when the tares are removed from the wheat.
