Every day for three days I receive a “Christian Meme” picture message in my Facebook Messenger account from a woman we will call “Clumsy Sky.” She writes no text and I do not respond. Finally, she sends me the same picture I use in one of my stories. This gets my attention and I suddenly feel as if I need to pursue communication. I send a simple question, “How can I help you?” Sky doesn’t mess around and there is no greeting or introduction. She jumps immediately to the point and describes colon issues, liver damage, pain in pancreas, and digestive toxicity.

Allow me to establish the plot. When I receive the picture Sky uses to get my attention, I’m sitting in a hair cutting shop getting my nephew’s hair cut. Evidently, Sky has been prophesied over and experiences a bit of a miracle. She tells me “I was set up for surgery and [the] night [before] the Lord removed at least 20 pounds of something [from her body].” The prophet and God assure her she is going to be cured. I ask her, so “What are you asking Jesus for specifically?” She responds, “Health.”

So, sitting in the barber chair next to my nephew – where I had been in conversation with the hair stylist – I ask Jesus what He want’s me to do for Sky. I have no idea what His answer could be. I figure, “Call her and pray for her” or something like that; but no, He said, “Pray for her” and I understood “Now, from where you’re at.” So I simply prayed for Sky’s healing, from a barber chair, during another conversation. Compassion and love swept over me as I prayed for Sky and it felt good.

Jesus tells me to tell Sky, “I love you and one day you will run with Me.” As you can read above, something begins happening on her end of the communication. I don’t clarify what Sky writes, but by the look of her response it seems as if the Holy Spirit starts working in her body (fluttering), and maybe wants her to pick up her mat and walk. I cannot certify any of this yet, but I’m eagerly anticipating an update. Whoot, whoot!
