October 2021

A couple days ago I am in a local church with my son attending a private event.  While we’re there my attention shifts to a “stranger” walking around in the church.  A female leader points him out to me and asks if I will watch him.  When I look at him, I feel “He’s not supposed to be here.”  I approach the young man immediately and asked, “What are you doing here?”  He smiles at me, but there is no answer.  “What’s your name,” I ask.  He looks me straight in the eye, smiles, and still no answer.  I know this man is demon possessed.  Long story short, I escort him outside, he’s acting erratically, and I know it’s not drugs or alcohol.  He’s there to pray against the church!

We go outside and stand face to face.  His spirit is trying to intimidate me.  I tell him the event is private and that him walking around in the church is equivalent to me coming to his home, walking around, and looking in all the bedrooms.  “You can’t do this,” I said, “there are kids here.”  Again, he smiles at me and acts rebellious.  “Rebellion is as witchcraft” (1 Samuel 15:23) chimes in my head!  I tell him “If you want to come to this church, come back on Sunday” even though I didn’t mean it.  He then tells me, “We could be dead by Sunday” in a very monotone voice as he smiles again.  I respond, “We could die tonight. What are you going to do?”  I’m not going to allow his demon to intimidate me.

After I say this he responds, “I guess I should go then.”  To which I reply, “Yea, you need to go.”  As he takes his time walking across the parking lot, I hear him mumbling indiscriminate things and laughing out loud.  He opens the door to his car and, in that same spirit of rebellion, turns rock music up really loud.  He looks at me, laughs, takes his time getting in the car and finally backs out.  When the car moves to go forward, with his windows down, he loudly plays a man reading scripture while laughing over the volume.

The woman in charge of the event then comes out to me and asks, “What happened?”  I didn’t tell her much, but I did tell her the church needs better security for now on.  I email the pastor that night and tell him I have another version of the story he’s going to hear from the woman in charge if he is interested.  Today I speak to the pastor.  He’s appreciative of the spiritual version of what happened at his church.  I suggest that he pray against whatever has been released in his church by this young man – he was there to release curses and demons into the church.  He accepts my suggestion and asks if I could do it.  Jesus immediately gives me a “No. It’s his responsibility.”  So he asks me if I have any prayers I could suggest to him.  I answer him, “I ask Jesus and He instructs me on what to pray against and how” implying that he do the same.  We left it at that.

Later that day I feel I should write out an outline for him and text the pastor to see if he agrees.  He replies “Yes,” so I sit down to write it out and Jesus downloads a complete outline for the pastor; not only for the church, but for him as well.  That’s pretty awesome!  We will see what happens from here.
