This story is awesome. I have known “The Proffer” for quite some time. She is aware of my ministry, a Christian, but somewhat skeptical of the things I tell her.
This woman loves to give. My wife would say that one of her love languages is giving. However, when she gives to anyone she is immediately discouraged about the giving, becomes despondent that she has given, and brings grief on the recipient of her gifts. Her husband died years ago, she lost everything, had to file bankruptcy, and had to build back up from nothing all, all by herself. This series of events leaves her very bitter. Money becomes the root of many of her problems and finally, the area of her gifting became her torture chamber.
Jesus reveals this spirit to me. I bring it up to her casually, but The Proffer isn’t trying to hear it. We talk about how she has bone spurs on both feet, which gives her tremendous pain. She sits down on a chair and so I can pray for her. I believe she really doesn’t think anything is going to happen, so I tell her “I will ask Jesus if he will heal your feet. If He wants to, He will.” She says “Okay.”
I begin to pray for her feet and I can feel warmth in my hands. It’s not as great as I have felt it in the past, but I am hopeful Jesus is going to show-up big! After we pray, she says, “It feels a little better” but not in a convincing tone. We leave each other and I don’t hear from her until yesterday. Here is what she texts me:
“Hi. I wanted to let you know, when you prayed to God for the spurs, I’m healed. Praise our Father…[also]…For the first time, I realize my ‘so called’ money is not mine. Everything I have is His, not mine.”
I call her immediately and she explains a “release.” I ask “Like, all the way?” To which she responds, “Like 98%.” She is excited. When we meet again, we will go for the remaining 2%! One more thing. Not only is she healed from the bone spurs but is also delivered from the spirit who steals the joy out of her giving. I’m not sure of this, but I have a feeling that the spirit stealing her joy of giving is also the one causing her bone spurs in the end. Just my theory. Jesus is so awesome!

The Proffer and I speak on the phone. She tells me the bone spur pain is almost gone, just a little left. I suggest we pray again and see if Jesus will release her from all the pain – totally remove the bone spurs.
Before the rest of this story, I would like to add that – before these occurences – The Proffer is speaking to a doctor and preparing to schedule surgery to remove these bone spurs. Also, to my knowledge, bone spurs don’t just go away! Back to the story.
We meet and I pray for her feet, holding both ankles in my hands. As I am praying, I feel deep throbbing. I’m not sure if the throbbing is my hands, her ankles, or both, so I tell her “I feel throbbing.” She says, “I do too.” So, we finish praying and she says she feels better already. I tell her I will check back with her in a couple days to see how she’s doing.
Today (2021.01.27), I text The Proffer to see how she is doing. She writes:
“Oh my, so good. Feeling very good. Thank you for prayer of healing in Christ.”
BTW, while I am praying for The Proffer’s ankles the first time, I notice that one of her legs is shorter than the other. I know this because she is wearing shoes which correct the problem. I ask her about the problem and she isn’t interested in my asking Jesus to fix the issue, “…because the shoes correct the problem.” I ask anyway, in secret, for Jesus to stretch out her leg while I am praying for the bone spurs. Two days ago, as I am holding her ankles again and I noticed that the legs were identicle in length and that the sole of her corrective shoe is extending out past the other; meaning, He healed her leg too. Wow!!! In a correlative story, click here to see the video of Jesus stretching out my son’s leg.
Jesus is so awesome. Amen!
