September 2021

My relationship to a 19 year-old Pakistani girl began through social media in the beginning days of August 2021.  Sitaish has listened to some videos I’ve posted on Facebook, befriended me, and began conversations with me on Messenger.  On August 24th, Sitaish told me that she had been experiencing heavy coughing and soreness in her throat for two weeks.  A doctor came to her parent’s home and diagnosed her with throat cancer, telling her she needed medicine for her throat or she may die.  The medicine cost the equivalent to $150 American dollars, of which she asked me if I could help.

First, let me tell you, I was almost waiting for her to ask me for money.  I’m not proud of it, that’s just how I think.  In conversation I checked her family background and asked questions only she could know, being from Pakistan.  I looked at her Facebook page and she checked out.

So, she tells me of the throat thing.  I asked Sitaish to give me time to ask Jesus if I’m supposed to give her the money.  Look, if Jesus told me to give her the money I wouldn’t care if she were sick or not.  I would just give her the money.  That’s how I work with Jesus anytime someone asks me for anything.  That night I prayed.  I asked Jesus if I should give Sitaish the money.  He said, “No.  She does not need the medicine.”  Then He said something very peculiar.  He said, “Orlando Florida.”  I have no Idea what “Orlando Florida” means but I knew that I was also supposed to pray for her, against cancer of the throat; so, I did.  I told Sitaish that I was not the one who was supposed to give her money.  I did not tell her that Jesus said she didn’t need it, but I told her I prayed against the cancer and that Jesus said “Orlando Florida.”  Like me, she didn’t know what to do with that either.

After all this set-up, here’s the amazing part.  Two days later I felt an “urge” to follow-up with Sitaish.  I asked her, “How has the medicine worked for you” assuming she had received treatment.  Sitaish told me she woke-up the next morning and all her symptoms were gone!  I asked her to tell me how.  She replied, “It was […] you [,] randomly praying for me.  I was sleeping!  When I wake up I felt there was nothing.”  I then told her that Jesus told me she wasn’t going to need the medicine.

Amen?  Neither one of us yet know what “Orlando Florida” means. Perhaps there is a Christian in Orlando Florida Jesus has in mind to bless Sitaish’s ministry in Pakistan. Here is a copy of the Messenger string from when I checked in with Sitaish after praying for her:

Whether she knows English or not I am not sure, but The Pakistani Sitaish and I are communicating through Facebook Messenger.  I believe Messenger translates our messages back and forth and Sitaish has been letting me know she’s praying for my family and ministry, as I am for hers.

I’m not so technologically savvy. I didn’t know this was even possible but Sitaish sent me an audio recording of a prayer she said for me in her language, Urdu.  I click play to listen to the prayer and my first instinct is to pray against it – you guys know what I do.  I am always skeptical, but in the middle of her prayer I am moved and I understand fully that The Pakistani Sitaish is who she says she is.  Sitaish is a nineteen-year-old Christian Pakistani girl living in a Muslim country.  Her region is heavily oppressed by radical Al Qaeda and, as a Christian, she is constantly under the threat of persecution, possibly to death.

I don’t know what Sitaish says in this prayer, but it moved me and I would like to share it with you:

My birthday was this past Sunday. Sitaish agressively wanted to speak to me on Facebook Messanger at 12 noon, sharp. We tried, it didn’t work, so my family and I left to go to Ocean City for a while. Thinking she wasn’t going to get me, she left me the following videos. I noticed the videos on my phone and called her back while we were driving.

This is the birthday cake her family made.
Sitash and her family sing me happy birthday.

I was totally touched by this family in Pakistan, that they would go out of their way to bake me a cake and video call me to wish me Happy Birthday. After singing, they got a piece of cake on a spoon and lifted it close to their phone as if to give me a bite. I, in turn, simulated taking a bite and subsequently passed my phone around to my wife and children so everyone could take a virtual bite. We all laughed. Through Jesus’s deliverance, our families have come together.

Sitaish brought to my attention a 9 year old child suffering from Tetanus. Tetanus throws the little girl into convultions. Sitaish and her mother are praying for “Healing” the little girl in the following video. I asked Sitaish if the girl was totally healed. She answered that the symptoms diminished a little, but the Tetanus did not go away. I told her I would pray as well. When I asked Jesus about this child, Jesus told me to pray against the territorial principality Tetanus, not for healing. I did and susgested the same to Sitaish and her mother. Perhaps you could pray against this demon as well. Ask Jesus to heal this 9 year old child.

So, Jesus has thrown me into a relationship with this family in Pakistan. I am happy about it.

The 9 year old Pakistani girl with tetanus is healing more every day with our prayer. I have attached Sitaish’s Messenger message so you can read it.

Jesus seems to do some of his best work at the core of persecution and pestilence.  While living in a country hostile to the Gospel of Jesus Christ The Pakistani Sitaish and her family fight for the children of her region.  While the Taliban fights to destroy Christianity in her country, the nineteen year old Pakistani Sitaish fights for the lives of the children Jesus claimed to be so fond of.  Here are some pictures of the Bhatti’s outreach to an oppressed nation’s region of young people.

Jesus moved me to support The Pakistani Sitaish and her family in Pakistan. So many pastors are held hostage by tithers, committing their tithes to programs and systems, paying for multimillion dollar buildings while the pastors and their families suffer. This is not Biblical.

Jesus tells me to give them money. When I sent it I told them it was for their family. They gave it to the children anyway. I love these people and, like Jesus, I love those children. I love this job!

She’s beautiful!

Thank you Jesus for meeting the needs of these people. You are awesome!
