When I was just starting in ministry, I was serving in a church plant as associate pastor for almost two years.  One Sunday, after delivering a sermon, a particular woman responded to the alter call and accepted Jesus.  I tried to connect with her after the service, but we were too busy and she was too fast.  After this, I did not see this woman for six months.  One Sunday in the future, the other pastor came to me and told me a woman was talking to him about possible possession, so he turned her over to me saying, “I know you’re into all that weird stuff.”  Lol.  I spoke to the woman and asked what she was experiencing.  She explained to me how she would try to read the Bible or pray, but every time she tried a “Demon Face” would appear, seemingly trying to bite her.  No body, just a suspended green “Demon Face.”  This would frighten her and she would immediately stop trying to read or stop praying.  I asked her how long she had been experiencing this problem.  As she was explaining the problems and the timeline of the experiences I recognized her as the woman I led to Christ 6 months prior, exactly when these experiences began for her. After she accepted Jesus, she still had a demonic attachment and it didn’t want anything to do with her reading the Bible or praying to God, so it was using fear as an instrument to make her stop.  I asked questions trying to see when this demon might have entered.  I found that in the past she had consulted a psychic, had a medical abortion, suicidal tendencies, an eating disorder, and frequent use of alcohol and drugs.  I believe the psychic and abortion caused all the rest of her issues, she got saved, this demon somehow still had legal rights to her and it was denying her spiritual growth. A partner and I met with her on neutral ground and prayed for her.  She passed out, overcome with the presence of the Holy Spirit.  When she woke-up, she said she felt fine.  After months of follow-up, this woman consistently told me she never experienced the problem again and she could pray and read the Bible without interference.  Green Face was gone, Amen?
