Look, we all need deliverance!

My second son has never been delivered from “No-Name,” the one who intends to destroy him from within; however, Jesus tells me “I will take care of it [the deliverance]” which encourages me, but then crushes me because I realize that it won’t be immediately.  My son will have to live with this squatter until Jesus decides to remove him.  So, I trust Jesus with an eye open looking for the opportunity that Jesus might use me to deliver my son, which brings me to this story.

Yesterday I’m fishing on a Facebook deliverance page for people who need prayer.  I scroll past another deliverance worker who has posted, doing the same.  I’ll call her “Sister Roux” in this discussion. I continue to scroll and see another post from Sister Roux; then, Jesus pings my internal radar system.  I know I have to speak to Sister Roux, but I’m not sure what for.  I message her, still asking Jesus “Why?”  I begin to feel that maybe this has to do with my son’s deliverance.

Finally Sister Roux responds to my message, she is distant, hesitant and questioning, but we decide to talk on a Facebook Video chat – isn’t technology wonderful – and she calls.  What I find on the other end of the call is a “straight to the point” female who wants to verbally control the direction of the phone call (the spirit of witchcraft is very controlling) – to which I conform.  She controls the conversation and we begin praying against the generational demon who has worked through me and into my son.  Nothing happens.  As she is leading me thru my deliverance, I realize that my deliverance is not on the table today, but it is her in fact who needs the deliverance.  Jesus leads me to her, but I have to believe it is me who needs deliverance (my son) so she will accept me.  Wow!

I tell her nothing is happening and she begins telling me that I’ve done something wrong, which is what weak deliverance pastors do if they are outranked or can’t figure out how to get a demon out.  I question her, “So you’re telling me it’s my fault?”  She hesitates for the first time and I am able to begin speaking sensibly to her.  Jesus tells me and I relay to her that “Jesus tells me that you are head-strong, defiant, and militantly resist confrontation.”  When I tell her this her walls fall to the ground and she becomes accepting of what Jesus will then lead me to share with her.

Here is a quick overview of what Jesus shows me is going on with Sister Roux: (1) She has a religious demon fostered by her church leadership and (2) she is being sheltered by this demon who keeps her away from other deliverance pasters to protect itself from being evacuated.  (3) She admits to strong rebellion, which I understand to be a manifestation of rejection.  Finally, (4) the demon who runs the show and definitely doesn’t want her to talk to me is her highest-ranking ancestral demon who controls her family bloodline and relationship with her husband.  She has been told by her church leadership and a “false holy spirit” not to speak to those outside her church.  This is not how God works.  He wants unification in His body.  There is an eye, a hand, and so forth; we are supposed to work together.  Evil spirits are the ones who separate one from the body to divide and conquer.

Look, we all have demons.  I know I have my own and you might not believe this, but so do you.  Deliverance is for the Christian, not the un-saved.  Sister Roux is a daughter of the Most High God who operates in the office of deliverance thru the Name of Jesus Christ and still has demons.  I pray she will open herself to the Voice of Truth and come back to me for her freedom.  Jesus is so awesome!!!
