Shiva is the Hindu god of destruction, or The Destroyer.  Shiva means “seven,” as in the days of creation, or the seventh day in which God rested. Shiva wields the trident and is associated with “fire” and “red.”

The symbols of Shiva are the cobra, trident, and a phallus.  In Hindu mythology, the trident is the weapon of Shiva which can cause earthquakes and deluge.  It holds three-fold power over the principalities of heaven (the 2nd heavens), earth and Hell.  The trident represents the holy number three, mimics the “as above, so as below” mantra, and is synonymous with Thor’s hammer and so on.

Oddly enough, The Hindu Shiva is found at the entrance at Cern, the large hydron collider, located 100 meters underground straddling the borders of France and Switzerland.  Shiva represents science and knowledge, such as the apple does in the Garden of Eden.

Shiva claims to be responsible for the reshaping of everything. He claims to have the power to destroy anything and everything, including divine beings, planets, star systems and even universes; a true destroyer, definitely not a creator.  He claims immeasurable strength (omnipotence), supernatural wisdom (omniscience), and can be anywhere at any time (omnipresence).  Shiva lives in true blasphemy of the True Living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
