As revealed to me by Christ Jesus:

I hear the words, “He’s burning.”  My wife and I take the words to Jesus, test the Voice and it’s Him, so I ask, “Should we extinguish him, Sir?”  Jesus tells me, “It depends on who he is.  Let’s take a look” and shows me two men.

I describe to Him and my wife what I’m seeing.  I tell them, “I see two men.  One is in the position of prayer, engulfed in flames.  The other man is the image I’ve seen on a Rage Against the Machine album cover. I know, from previous research, that the image of this man is a true depiction of a monk burning himself in protest.  As I’m writing to you, I look up the details of this image and find the monk’s name is Thích Quảng Đức, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk who made himself a martyr by setting himself on fire in protest of the treatment of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government.

I’m watching these men burn in front of me and ask Jesus, “Which one” do I put out?  Or both?  As I present my request, I feel the one praying has been set on fire in contrast to the Buddhist Monk, who set himself on fire.  Jesus says, “One’s a martyr and the other’s a Pharisee.”   I reiterate my question, “Do You want me to put one out?”  He answers, “The Pharisee,” so I put the Pharisee’s fire out, he stands up and walks away.  I’m a little confused and suggest to Jesus, “The other guy is still burning for You, Sir?”  Jesus is looking on the man left burning and answers, “He’s Mine.  I will take care of him.”  I ask, “Who is this guy burning for you Jesus?” Jesus remarks, “A Martyr for Me.  The Pharisee is the modern church.  Their flames aren’t real. There will be destruction for the Pharisee and mercy for My true martyrs.”
