In the Bible, Lucifer is found in Isaiah 14:12 in the KJV.  Other translations translate to “shining star of the dawn” or “morning star” (Hebrew Bible).  Jerome translates Lucifer from the Hebrew “Helel,” or “Bright” or “Brilliant One.”  Helel, later became understood to be Satan, The Lord of Darkness as most Christian sects refer to him today. 

In Mythology, Mercury is the Roman god with winged shoes – such as the Nike tennis shoe logo.  Mercury is the messenger god who carries and imparts illuminated knowledge to man from the heavens.  This being is known as Hermes to the Greeks, or simply Lucifer. 

In Secret Societies, The Knights Templars worship the god Lucifer, “The One that fell from Heaven.”  The followers of Theosophy consider Lucifer and the Adonai/God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to be equals.  They believe worthy humans will ascend to become the “architects” of future universes, like Lucifer.  Those from the Gnostic and Esoteric Mysteries of Freemasonry consider Lucifer, The Great Architect of the Universe.  Lucifer is the Snake God of Freemasonry.  The 33rd level of initiation professes its Adepts to be soldiers for the new, true religion, the religion that understands that Lucifer is god.  The ancient Egyptians believe this claim also.  Albert Pike writes that Lucifer is indeed the secret god of the Masons.  Freemasonry and all their associate organizations, at their highest levels of initiation, agree to prepare a way for the New World Order under a the New Babel (Babylon/Beast System) which worships Lucifer. 

Satanism and other deceived followers of Lucifer consider him to be one who struggles for humanity, against the oppressive Adonai God of the Bible.  Lucifer is worshipped as the first free thinker, the emancipator of the world.  Lucifer is the Great Goat of Capricornus, and symbolized by an inverted pentagram, the Azazel of the fallen angels.  Lucifer is the cherubim appellation of Satan’s seraphic form.  He is considered the god that gave mankind fire (Light, Knowledge, Science), as the Labrys-Prometheus combination, which is Lucifer.  Lucifer is assigned to pride as The Satan is assigned to wrath.  The Father tells me, “Lucifer is one of Satan’s many aspects.”
