I think the Traditional Contemporary Church (my term) has a twisted understanding of what Jesus truly is.  The church gets stuck in this hyper-grace, la-di-da Jesus because of its lack of experience with Him, along with the lies and deception received from the enemy; we are left in a daze about His true nature.  Revelation 12:9 says that Satan has deceived the “entire world.”  The original text confirms that the words “entire world” spare no one.  We are all deceived at some level, even though some believe they’re too smart for this to be true.  Jesus is not just the “turn the other cheek Jesus” most want to understand Him to be – by the way, the person slapping Jesus’ face is an unbeliever.  He’s also the righteous “table turner” in the Temple Courts – by the way, the table vendors are believers and the Chief Priests want to kill Him!  He’s also the roaring Lion of Judah, a Conquering King who releases the wrath of God like juice from a winepress.  Jesus is a spiritual bad ass.  He says, “Don’t assume that I came to bring peace, [I came to bring] a sword.”  He’s cutting the good from the bad!  And you shouldn’t get in His way while he’s accomplishing His Father’s mission, or He will run over you, especially in a time such as this.  This is to include His own people, you lukewarm, religious, spiritually dead ones, who will take offense at this.  He will love you while He crushes you for righteousness’ sake, as He was crushed by His own Father.  Carry your cross lukewarm Christian or get out of the way!

While I’ve established the facts of Jesus’ controversial attributes, I will tell you about His actions against an attacker of a woman I’m working with in Europe.  This being’s a fierce demonic entity and Jesus snatches this murderer from in front of her and bites it’s head off.  We’re at war and war isn’t pretty.  Jesus tells me I can share this incident with you and I ask Him for scriptural reference, because I know many of you will ask.  First, He gives me 2 Kings 10, where Jehu asks for the heads of the seventy sons of King Ahab.  The heads were put in baskets and sent to Jehu, who piles them up at the entrance of the city, and by this everyone knew “the word of Yahweh will not fail.”  By The Lord’s order these things happened and Jesus is the Commander of the Lord’s Army.  Jesus tells my wife, “There’s a significance in the head,” like why the head has to be lost, beheaded.  Jesus also gives us Revelation 19, where heaven opens and John is shown Jesus on a white horse.  This is the Jesus who wages war.  His eyes are a flame, His clothes are dipped in blood, He is followed by His armies and a sharp sword comes out of His mouth as He strikes down the unrighteous nations with it as He treads the winepress I write about above.  After this scene, there’s a great supper of God where the flesh of kings, commanders, warriors and horses is eaten.  He is also the Lamb, who stands in the presence of those being tortured with fire and brimstone, in the smoke of their torment. This war is authorized by The King and war’s not pretty.

This is not going to set well with those whose image of a Savior is one of a flower sniffing, 60’s, sandals wearing, peace and love Jesus?  This may be too much for you.  If you knew the truth of what these demonic figures were doing inside your own being and to your children, you would thank this Jesus and ask Him to bite all their heads off.  But most of you won’t!  Because you’re a part of the “entire world” who needs to wake up to the seriously maleficent methodology of the Kingdom of Darkness!
