“El Rey Forte” is the homeless man the others in his circle tell me to stay away from.  “He’s a trouble maker” they say.  Of course, that puts a target on his back for me.  Mr. Forte is a disrupter. Mr. Forte fights police officers and get’s thrown in county jail. Mr. Forte is an alcoholic and robs local convenience stores to meet his needs.  When presented with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Mr. Forte likes to argue misunderstood, worthless religious philosophies.I ask Mr. Forte “Where he have you been sleeping” because it’s cold out here (Nov. 2019, when the temperature got below freezing)?”  He tells me both he and his friend have been sleeping on the concrete.  Can you imagine sleeping on the concrete in below-freezing weather?  I put a word out to my Truth Project Family and get a response back quickly.  I tell Mr. Forte, “Tell everyone who’s in need of a blanket, meet me under the bridge, at 6pm, and I’ll pass them out after I pick them up.”  The ones who really need a blanket show up.  As I am passing out blankets, Mr. Forte stands about ten yards away, looking at me with a hard glare.  We fix our hard stares at one another for a short period of time until I can’t help it any longer and I crack and start smiling.  He busts out in loud laughter as he walks away with his blanket!  He never says it, but I know his laughter means “Thank you” and is a gesture of acceptance of me and ultimately my partners who silently help me.  So, I have a new friend, Mr. Forte, the one the others told me to stay away from. Click these links to go to our website for stories of salvation, deliverance, healing, homelessness, witchcraft, and taking back territory.
