Contrary to contemporary church confusion, a demon is not a Fallen Angel, but a Fallen Angel, as well as other fallen Heavenly Beings, can be a demon. The word “Demon” is a title. There are many different beings in the Kingdom of Darkness, just as there are many in the Kingdom of God, or even on earth. We humans are not intended to interact with these beings; although, for many reasons, they work their way into our lives/realm. I’m praying today and Jesus gives me a definition for “Demon:”
De·mon /ˈdēmən/ – Of or relating to the realm of the demonic; Lucifer’s realms. All unredeemed, spiritual, other worldly, interdimensional and outer realm beings, related to, working for or in association with the Kingdom of Darkness.
In light of His definition, I look up what the original Greek intends to convey through this term:
Demon – A Supernatural power. / daimonion / An Evil spirit having power over man. Interchangeable with theos, for a god. Theos emphasizes the personality of the god, where demon highlights its activity. Therefore, demon, is applied to sudden, unexplained interventions, not due to any particular deity.
Within the category of “Demon,” are many sub-categories, sub-classes, kinds and orders. The Kingdom of Darkness is a convoluted kingdom. I cannot possibly list, nor do I know all of the possibilities. I can only use The Star Wars Saga to illustrate the extensiveness in the diversity of beings as an example, as crazy as that may sound. Let me give you examples of how Jesus allows me to understand this term. For clarification, I’m not looking through the lens of theological teaching – which is basically devoid in the area of Demonology – nor am I relying on academics. That establishment offers very little about this topic or these kingdoms. In the work Jesus authorizes me, I deal with many of these sub-categories relating to their Kingdom: Fallen Angels (up to Satan himself), Principalities, Demonic Generals, Nephilim, hybrid (a myriad of these beings, all variations), ancient beings, (lower level earthbound) primordials, demons, and evil human spirits, in multiple dimensions, second heavens (yes, there are multiple second heavens), created dimensions (evil), Hell, inner earth, other planets, at the bottoms of the seas, other universes, etc., etc., etc.
As I note in the beginning of this page, all said categories of beings contained in the prior paragraph are, in fact, demonic beings but the sub-classes of these beings are complexly exhaustive. Demon is a general term used to describe what type of being we’re dealing with, or, more specifically, what Kingdom it belongs to. For example: A Fallen Angel is a demonic figure, although, it is not a demon until judged by God. There are both judged and unjudged Fallen Angels. One cannot approach The Work with a Fallen Angel the same as with a demon. There’s a system of rank and structure in their kingdom, just as there is in God’s. God still respects the office of the Fallen Angel if not yet judged, therefore, I cannot treat an unjudged Fallen Angel the same as I would Satan, even though Satan is its boss. These are God’s laws in all realms.
Demons, in the Bible, can be anywhere from lower-level entities, all the way up to demonic generals in the Kingdom of Darkness, to Satan himself. The demonic realm is connected to earth and, therefore, all creatures belonging to it are earthbound. Some classes of demonic figures travel interdimensionally and some (hybrid/Nephilim) manifest in flesh, in our natural realm; that’s right, they’re walking among us currently, draped in skin.
Usage of “Demon” in this Ministry: I refer to these demonic beings specifically, because of The Work. All sub-classes of demonic beings are not dealt with the same. One cannot deal with a Fallen Angel the way one would a demon, or lower level, earthbound demonic entity. One cannot deal with a hybridized demonic entity the way one would an evil human spirit. For annotation, one needs to understand the origin of a lower-level earthbound demonic figure to understand how and why they’re even here. This would also allow the reader to understand the distinctions I make between these classes; but this topic is too extensive for this description and deserves its own writing.
Concerning these beings, Jesus tell me, “When you sin against Me, your sin produces a byproduct. These beings feed on this byproduct. It’s like a source of energy. They would rather have blood, but they will take this byproduct as a substitute.” I ask, “Does the byproduct sustain their life?” Jesus, “No, it sustains their quality of existence.”
