04 March 2024: A physical experience and an apocalyptic scripture intersect and Jesus tells me, “There’s been a shift in the financial system.”  I’m crying and He says, “It’s because you know what’s coming.” 

I’m in a local supermarket with my daughter today and have a hard time paying because “card systems” is down.  I walk up to purchase our food and this rather large food market chain is having trouble processing debit type transactions.  Only one cashier is open, the line is long and people are complaining.  I ask the attendant at the self-checkout area about my method of payment and she informs me that I must convert to “cash only” or go to Customer Service and get a “Voucher.”  I’ve never heard of this before, look at the situation more closely, think about all the prophetic words The Lord is flowing through me at this time and begin to think, “Something’s going on.” 

When I get to Customer Service, the cashier gets aggravated, because I was wrongly sent to her but serves me anyway and I ask, “What’s going on?”   She explains the obvious problem.  I ask and she answers, “It’s been going on for seven hours.”  I inquire, “All your stores?  What about the other supermarkets in town?”  She answers, “Yes, all our locations” and quotes a list of all the others this is happening to in my city.  “Something IS going on” and I think to myself, “This is not local to just one company.  This must be an aggregate problem” and, on my inside, Jesus is telling me something is definitely going on. 

The next morning, I’m driving to an appointment an hour away from my home and I’m listening to the Book of Revelation on BibleGateway.com as I drive.  I get to chapters 17 & 18 and I begin crying, like a deep cry.  I’m listening to the fall of the financial system, Babylon the Great, and I’m deeply moved.  Jesus puts these two events together in my head, the Customer Service issue, the fall of the Babylonian Financial System, and I have a clearer understanding.  Again, I always confirm what He gives me through two others: my wife and oldest daughter.  When I send my prayer request, Jesus confirms things to me through them. 

I send two questions, through a group text message and Jesus responds.  The questions and answers are as follows, “Jesus, was there a shift in the financial system [during the Customer Service event]?”  He responds, “Yes, the beginning of one.”  I ask, “Why am I crying so hard, reading this prophetic scripture, Sir?”  He responds, “Because, you know what’s coming.”  I ask, “Can I write this to your people, Sir?”  He tells me, “Yes, but don’t publish it yet.”

Today is 8 March 2024 and Jesus tells me to publish this word.
