I am contacted by Mrs. Grace, whose husband Mr. Noble has been diagnosed with cancer for about a year.  She tells me her husband follows the videos I post on Facebook.  When she contacts me through FB messenger, I ask Jesus “What I should do for Noble?” and He tells me to “Pray for him.”  So, we make the appointment and I drive to their home.

While I’m driving to their home, I talk to Jesus and understand the day will not consist of any wild deliverance and that I will only be praying for healing.  I can be a little hardheaded – just ask my wife – so I try using prayers of deliverance during the process.  Nothing, so I back off again.  There seems to be no visible signs of anything happening, I finish praying for Mr. Noble and move to Mrs. Grace. 

Mrs. Grace has been experiencing severe pain in her knees but doesn’t tell me.  Allow me to back-up for a moment.  Before the praying, I interview the people I meet.  I am looking for patterns, listening for evidence of spiritual presence, and listening to the Holy Spirit for guidance.  I hear evidence of demonic spiritual presence, but when it comes time to pray deliverance, again, nothing happens.  Suddenly, Mrs. Grace stands-up and says, “You didn’t pray for this, but my knees feel great, no pain” and continues to give me the background.    

So it happens just as Jesus tells me as I am on my way to their home, this won’t be a day for deliverance but a day for healing.  Mrs. Grace experiences noticeable healing in her knees while I am there.  Let’s see what Jesus does with Mr. Noble and the cancer that threatens premature death on his body.

I do not hear from Mrs. Grace for almost a month after our prayer.  However, she sends a message through one who knows me which says, “I am not longer taking pain medication.”  The message is a little vague for me, so I reach out to see what Jesus has done for her.  Here is a portion of the messaging:

As I now understand it, Mrs. Grace had been experiencing pain in her knees and in her back, so much so that she could barley get up and move around some days.  This is a major improvement and I praise Jesus for what He is doing, although I didn’t go to their home to pray for her, it was for her husband.  As for Mr. Noble, we have experienced minor healing and are still waiting on his major breakthrough.  Many times it’s either immediate or after a period of time. Sometimes never at all. Jesus told me “Pray for him,” and I trust Jesus; so, Noble’s healing might be a couple months, a year, or never.  God is the determining factor on what happens and when it happens.  We show-up, petition for healing in the courts of heaven and await His verdict.  His verdict is always right and just.  Amen!
